Anne why are you writing books about how alcoholic losers ruin people's lives? Don't you see that romanticizing douchey behavior is the proper literary convention in this family! Honestly.

This is so true! Anne of Green Gables would never have gotten along with the Bronte nitwits.

If there was going to be anything that convinced me to read Anne Bronte's work, this would be it.

Anne Bronte has always been my favorite of the Brontes, and I think you totally summed up why for me here! Plus the passionate and mysterious dude is extra terrifying looking!

My high school literature teacher could never figure out why I thought the story of a woman who falls for a guy just as soon as he becomes a jackass wasn't the GREATEST STORY EVER.

Man, this was me all over in highschool. All the girls looking at the badboys and me going "What's wrong with you?"
Here's a hint, they're not misunderstood, it's hard to misunderstand chauvinistic pigs who drink too much and get into fights. Srsly.

Apparently people will never read my books either, should I ever write.

This made me look her up.
I CANNOT believe Charlotte prevented one of her books being reprinted after Anne died.
I kinda wish I didn't know that. I'm surprised at long dead shitty sisters could make me so mad.

!!! So funny!

Hm, I think I should actually read The tennant of Wildfell Hall. I've only ever seen a movie with a very broody, grumpy and dashing-hat-wearing Toby Stephens as the non-drinking hero.

P.S.: what sort of pen to you use? Do you have a favourite type?
