This summer, I will be appearing at two events (but only one of them in person)

One:

As Shaenon has pointed out, "The Cartoon Art Museum of San Francisco (www.cartoonart.org) is organizing "Monsters of Webcomics," a showcase of cutting-edge webcomics work." Some original art will be on display there for this show from August 8 - December 6, 2009. My original art is small and looks exactly the same on paper as it does when it is posted online, so prepare to have a reaction that is blasé. But then look at the amazing line up of talent they have otherwise and prepare to be amazed!



Two:

Vancouver! Are you going to be in Vancouver on August 23rd? So am I! Robin Bougie posted this one. Pretty cool, I haven't seen the west coast in a while, but I miss the mountains.

I'm so excited. I am from Vancouver and I super cannot wait to meet you. :D It's cool that you're coming to a smaller con in Vancouver, I've never been to this one. :O If I would have known I totally would have set up a table!

Congrats on the appearances, I wish I could be there to see either of them. Also, thanks for posting about the Monsters of Webcomics exhibition, I submitted my own webcomic to their virtual gallery. =)

unfortunately i don't live anywhere near those two places :c BUT!
my sister did get me your comic book for my birthday, so i'll look at that instead! don't tell my family, especially not my little sister who made me an adorable cake out of play-doh, but it's the best gift i've gotten so far

We are going to comic convention the hell out of this city on August 23rd!

EXTRA BONUS: There is a CAR FREE day being held in front of the Heritage Hall that day, and there will be arts and crafts and stuff. I think there will be a lot more walk-by traffic because of this, and we will all sell a million mini-comics.

I just realized that I did not really explain what a CAR FREE day was. It's where they close down the street for a few square blocks, and then there is all this rad stuff happening in the street where normally there are cars driving.

Also: We throw rocks at cars, and burn any moving vehicles that get within reach of our torches.
