Hey guys! I did hourly comics today (January 31) to remind you all that Feb.1 is Hourly Comic Day!
The details for it are here, and it's a thing that everyone can participate in so lots of people do! You should give it a go, you may like drawing some comics.

In the last panel there I am talking to Twitter people, you knew I had a twitter right? This is it.

We played that while I was in labor, that's how much we love it. I suck at it though.

I would do this but I am horribly forgetful. I'd probably do the first five hours, forget for five days...do more, forget again...

Blackmailers of Catan (So, what will you give me if I don't put the robber on you?)
"Pick on Gillian" (and the extension Cities and Knights is "Make Gillian Cry")

I'm going to give you some stories:
Disclaimer- These may or may not be relevant to your interests; I am suggesting them for comics, but, of course, whatever (I can't remember how strict your policy on ppl saying "OMG, do a comic on this..."). Ah, actually, very much not your usual style, but take them for whatever they're worth.
Background- I went to Ireland with a class trip (after a hefty preparatory dousing of history and literature). I'm now doing a poetry portfolio, so I collected some interesting stories.
1. Kilmainham Jail, in Dublin: had space for just under 200, though during the famine, about 9000 stayed there. Anyway, one of the men held during the 1916 rebellion was kept there. His execution was stayed so he could get married. Joseph Plunkett married Grace Grifford with only a prison guard as witness, and then they had ten minutes together with a guard interrupting them every minute to update them on how much time was left. Joseph was shot as Grace was leaving the prison, supposedly . She, of course, got involved in the rebellion and was held in the prison later on.
2. I was told two different possible reasons to why Dublin is full of brightly painted doors: one is so that people coming home drunk could tell which was their home, the other is that when Queen Victoria died the British told the people of Dublin to paint all the doors black in mourning...so Dubliners painted them crazy rainbow colors out of spite.
Also in Dublin...
3. I can't remember what building it is, but the Viceroy used to live there, and now the government uses it, since it's fancy. There's a throne room, very ornate, but I just remember the tour guide mentioning that when Victoria became queen, she had a smaller throne built because the other one was too big for her, and I just got this mental picture of a short Queen Victoria trying to climb on a throne that was too tall.

George Shaw: Come see my play on opening night. And bring a friend, if you have one.
Winston Churchill: No, I’ll come to the 2nd night’s showing, if there is one.

I just realized that your sketchy comics style reminds me of Roald Dahl.
