Batch of comics #6

« previous entry | next entry »

Another batch of little comics! That is today's update.

Thing to bring to your attention today: My studiomate here in Halifax, Mike Holmes, does some pretty sweet comics and illustration. One of the series he does is True Story, in which he takes stories people send in and makes comics out of them. So I thought you should check that out! Maybe you have a comic worthy story to send in. You probably do. In case you do, this is his email!

And remember, on June 4/5/6 I will be in Charlotte, NC, for Heroes Con! Hurrah!

that fanfic comic is exactly why i mourn the loss of so many of my friends' extracurricular energies.

"how's the writing coming?"
"i haven't done anything original in 6 months because i've been working on my changeling character's backstory."
*facepalm*

Heh, I'm one of those writers who got sucked into the fanfic maelstrom - it is an insidious trap...

*slinks away to work on fic number twenty-odd something*

We have a neighbor with a rooster. Thankfully, that neighbor is just far enough away that I find the constant screaming of "I'm a boy chicken! I'm a boy chicken! I'M A BOY CHICKEN!" charming.

Now there is also a baby rooster, so it's all "I'm a boy chicken!" "Me too!"

in case your watch breaks when you are surrounded by poisionous gases and only can breathe the air safely for 20 minutes and you have to save the president ALSO: SMALL ORPHANS.

of course everything's digital now but you could be a dignified older gentleman hero.

Although I laughed at all of these comics, the one that made me LOL was the monk one. Gospel of Mark Fanfic - I would love to see that, haha!!!
