Hey Everyone!

I had a comic done for the week, but I didn't think it turned out well. So I enlisted the help of my twitter following to do some sketch comics! It took a turn for the Greek.

I am Calgary right now for the Calgary Comic Expo, there will be a lot of people there! Even a William Shatner.

I was drawing King's Speech pictures and then Victoria pictures and may well make a t-shirt from the second drawing.

I've been showing these to my manfriend, who works at a performing arts charter high school, and the past two comics have mirrored his lesson plans- he was doing an entire section of a semester on Julius Caesar and he also teaches Greek mythology. They're AWESOME! Thanks, Kate!

These are amazing! It's like fandoms colliding -- Hark a Vagrant + mythology = epic!

That somehow reminds me of the Star Trek TNG episode where the aliens speak in metaphor.

"Leda and the Swan with ice cream cones."

"On the ocean."

"And the walls fell."

If loving a god-turned-swan wearing a trucker cap and drinking a beer is wrong, I don't wanna be right.

Also, I'm not sure how you can add bigger boobs and booty to a marble statue, but although it would have been more logical for Pygmalion to make a certain subtraction from the statue that would have, ah, accomodated him, I'm not sure if it would have been cartoonishly feasible.

I LOVE your Greek myths comics, they definitely harken back to my childhood, haha! Also, the monarchs are looking good - I dig.

One more thing - whenever I wear my "History Is Serious" shirt, I always get compliments, and I tell them to go to your website!
