I'm not entirely sure how to comment on your site so I'll leave this here and hope you see it-- your mother's day comic made me cry, at my desk at work (Pier 21! You probably know the people giving me side-eye!), in the middle of the day. I know you've heard it before, but your parents are so much like my parents (maybe it's a general rural Maritimers awesomeness) and I just identified super hard with that situation, that dream-crushing failure feeling... and my family were just as amazing and even though it's the middle of the work day, I just want to call my mom right now.

So, you know, keep it up.

Gracious, that IS a most dramatic faint! Complete with dramatic squiggly lines for emphasis!

Also, I love the demon horde. And hey, is that the Aflac duck among them? I always suspected...

These comics about rural identity, aging populations and family are quite powerful. You tell the right story the right way.

haha these are awesome! I love the luring to destruction one. And the fainting one amused me especially, having recently read Pride and Prejudice lol HER POOR NERVES.

I was expecting Martha, of the "FORGIVE ME - MY HUSBAND", to state she was eloping with the governess. And keeping the kid. *ponders* But then the fainting plague was ravishing Victorian England, eh wot? All that fainting, must cut into one's eloping time.

I'm from New Zealand and my mother was lucky enough to go to Comic Con this year (obviously I was so jealous) in San Diego I think. She said it was lovely to meet you and loves your comics. I'm going to have to head to America at some point to attend a convention (we don't have a big culture for it here).

Thanks for the laffs!

This is probably going to get me flagged as a spam bot, but I saw this and thought of your Sherlock Holmes cartoon(s?): http://seraevan.tumblr.com/post/45211238855/bakerstreetbabes-boyinthemachine-okay-by

Had to share. :D
