I had a sketch of this one while I still working at the museum in November. I found it when I was cleaning!

They had a giant Lego Halifax this year, and also a chair from the Titanic, and I regret none of the $7.00 I paid to see them both.

i dunno man, I draw big comics and I write small in them? People don't like it when I post them big, and people don't like it when I post them small and you have to click on them to see it.

When I talk with my younger self, all he wants to talk about is Star Wars and the latest Science News (from the early '90s).

Now, if you made a t-shirt like the one younger-you is wearing, I will buy two. One for myself, and one for my little nephew, if they come small enough. That shirt is awesomeness.

A t-shirt saying "Boat!" would sell like something very popular.

Aw, you guys are friends!

You should try working in the Alexander Keith's Brewerseum. Proper thing!

There aren't "benefits" per se, unless you count tons of beer and singing. And also taking the time to get it right. There's lots of that.

Pirates! Oh man, what's the Dewey Decimal number for pirates, is it under, um, crime? History? Awesome? I still remember dinosaurs (567.9) and baseball (796.357) and sex (306.7 for the sociological aspects and 618-something for the mechanics), why don't I know pirates or ninjas? I guess I was not a very good librarian after all.

OK, it looks like it's 910.4. Ninjas are... 952? Must remember.

Also, I see the budding historian in Young Kate now! All paths to knowledge begin with setting beards on fire.

I just stopped "interning" at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House (it's a historic house musuem that belonged to Edsel Ford! Go figure!) on account of I got no money, was actually losing money to drive there (because gas is way expensive in these parts) and was bascially just doing boring ass data entry, and not fun research stuff like when I started. I really don't ever want to work for a museum, I'm going to borrow my way through grad school and then be like a professor or something. Besides, I like Soviet history best and there aren't too many musuems about the USSR in the USA! Frankly I think it is pretty silly.

Wait, all this time, I thought you'd worked at the Maritime Museum in Halifax!

I've been to your museum!
and rode in the awesome elevator!
and took a picture of their piratey volunteer recruitment poster. ("Give up the life of a buckaneer, and become a volunteer!") Arrr!

I believe the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and Museum is still looking for a new Curator.

Just sayin'.

Apparently, besides the countless footballs and helmets, they have quite a bobblehead collection.
