An Ada Lovelace reference! Is today my lucky day?

YES Ada Lovelace! I kind of fell in love with her after reading the biography of her, 'The Bride of Science'. She wasn't even allowed to look at a portrait of Byron, her father, because he was 'dangerous to look at'.

OH MY GOD, ADA LOVELACE!

And to think, she'd end up having one of the most annoying programming languages named after her...

I don't know Ada or Isambard, but both of them (and Richard II) are awesome. As are you. This historical comic prompt thing is already my favorite thing ever. I loved just reading the suggestions! You have some fantastic fans.

Ooh, what about Ada's parents? They were crazy! I tried to do an essay about her once and half of it ended up being about her parents. Although, that could also be because I ran out of time and those were the parts of the book I read most thorougly. Still, you're gonna be messed up when one of your parents is Lord Byron (eww, incest).

Ada Lovelace I forgot she existed. I did a project on her in 9th grade, in my geometry class!
