I think that the idea of Stan Rogers being a wandering presence in the Maritime - or Canadian even - psyche is an odd but endearing one. Shoo!

I did not know who Stan Rogers was until I checked on wikipedia just now, but I still thought that this was quite funny.

He is possibly the greatest folk singer this country ever produced. If you look up his work, you won't be disappointed.

I agree with everything Phil said. Plus, iTunes has all of the man's music DRM-free!

(Also: I swear, I find out about more musicians through webcomics than through so-called "normal" means. Of course in this case, it's just due to the usual sad lack of knowledge of Canadian culture.)
